Writer's Block: Talk to the animals

What would you do if your pet dog or cat suddenly started to talk to you, but nobody else could hear it? Would you assume you'd gone mad or simply be happy for the company? Would you try to convince your friends and family or would you be satisfied keeping it to yourself?

With Snickers I'd probably be driven crazy.
She seems like the type who'd do nothing but order you around all day and complain about the quality of service.
Loki... I don't know.
He just has this dumb look on his face all the time, so I don't think I'd get any intelligent conversation from him.

But yeah, I'd definitely keep it to myself.

Changing the subject:
I'm looking into beauty schools to get my nail license.
I've narrowed it down to two, one in Ambler, the other in Warminster. I'm pretty sure I can work with FAFSA for both of them, cause Lord knows I don't have the kind of money they will ask for.
One thing I won't have to consider is whether I'll need to buy a textbook: My aunt will loan me hers.

I think this is a good move for me. Besides the fact that my having a license means my aunt won't get in trouble for me working there, it means I can go work anywhere I want and get better pay, not to mention the tips.
Say if I do end up making my own floral business. What if it fails? I've got a nail license as back-up.
Or if I get in a rut like I am now, one part-time job, what if that business shuts down, or what if I can only nab a seasonal job? In the meantime, I've got something to keep me going.
